  • Headlights: Low/high beams work.
  • Tail lights: Light up; lenses intact.
  • Turn signals: Left/right flash normally (front + rear).
  • Brake lights: Light up when you press the brake.
Brakes
  • Foot brakes: No grinding/pulling; pads/shoes not worn out.
  • Parking brake: Holds the car and releases properly.
Glass & wipers
  • Windshield: No major cracks in the driver’s view.
  • Wipers: Clear the windshield (not torn).
Tires & tread
  • Tires: Safe tread depth; no bulges/cords/serious damage.
  • Tip: If tread is close, replace before the call to avoid a fail.
